A member of Alex’s and Jason’s D&D group. She first appeared in Days of High Adventure.
Biography[]
Amanda was a student of the University of Washington and a member of Alex’s and Jason’s D&D group. She worked part-time as a receptionist for a financial firm. She was interested in Jason, but thought neither of them were ready for a relationship.
In late spring or early summer she was dragged into another plane together with her friend Eric, as she invoked the name of Bel-Danab, a sorcerer on that plane.
Bel-Danab took her captive and assigned her to his youngest apprentice as a slave and a future virgin sacrifice. During her time there she secretly learned magic. When Bel-Danab was absent she killed the apprentice and destroyed Bel-Danab’s tower. She sought refuge within the temple of Deyallah where she explored her sexuality and continued her magical studies. Together with Eric and Fallon she managed to defeat Bel-Danab.
Upon her return in September she sought out Jason and had a tryst with him. This caused the Great Open Teamspeak Mic incident, which ended his Adventures in Britneyland.[1][2]
Her current activities and whereabouts are unknown, but it is possible she is circumnavigating the world on a yacht with Eric and Fallon.[3]
Abilities[]
Amanda is a very quick study and learner, and became a capable magic user in just a few months’ time.
She retained her magical abilities as a D&D 4e wizard of at least 5th level after returning to Seattle. She probably also kept the ability to speak and understand any language, like Eric did.[1]
Trivia[]
Amanda’s part-time job at a financial firm might be inspired by Elliott Kay’s experience as a fill-in receptionist for Goldman Sachs.[4]
