A leader of jinn in Los Angeles. She first appeared in Grand Theft Sorcery.
Biography[]
Aminah was an old jinn and served as one of the leaders of the jinn community in Los Angeles. She represented the jinn community at the meetings to discuss the murders within the Shadows of Los Angeles.[1][2]
She disapproved of her son’s Omar’s prior engagement with Sunday and probably forced him to break off the engagement.
She was several hundreds years old, given that her son Omar was 600 years old. She had a strong reputation and capability as a diplomat. She also worked hard to avoid conflicts, preferring to avoid them, and attempted to keep some distance from human society.[2][3] This caused additional tension with her son Omar.
She had some sort of alliance with Latasha’s circle of nature Practitioners, and the two appeared to be good friends.[1]
Aminah’s skills as a sorcerer are unknown, but were likely to be formidable.
