A demon and prince of Hell. He first appeared in Personal Demons.
Biography[]
Belial was involved in a centuries-long low-intensity conflict with Baal, until he managed to confront Baal directly and fought him down, one of very few known cases for direct confrontations between demon lords. Belial then took Lorelei as the prize for ending the fight.[1] This happened circa 1,600 years ago.[2]
After the Battle of Blackthorne Manor, Belial asserted that Lorelei was his slave.[1] He was however unable to locate her.[3][1]
After Lorelei claimed Baal’s crown and invaded Azazel’s realm in the Battle of Perdition, Belial launched an attack on both Baal’s and Azazel’s lands. He was confronted by Lilith in Azazel’s throne room and defeated by her there, though in which way is unknown.[4]
Personal[]
Belial wore a barbed crown that glows with a green light that matched his eyes.
He was noted for wanting quality in souls, not quantity. This appears to imply a high degree of free will and also still having the capacity for redemption.[5][6]
