An occult bookstore in Seattle.

General[]

An occult bookstore located in Capitol Hill. It was where Onyx bought her first book on magic.[1] The bookstore was also a beneficiary in Elizabeth Van Dalen’s will, through its proprietor Harold Weiss.[2]

It is likely also the bookstore where Molly and Onyx bought the book on demonology to help them rescue Alex from Lorelei in September.[3] That would place the bookstore on Broadway on Capitol Hill.

Theories[]

There are two occult bookstores in Seattle that Molly and Onyx know about: Circle’s End and the one on the Ave.[4] The question is which one is their primary one.

The owner of Molly’s and Onyx’s “local occult bookstore” is a Practitioner, if on a small-scale basis.[5] The owner of the bookstore on Broadway had a backdoor with runes.[3] Being mentioned in Elizabeth’s will also implies more than a passing occult connection.[2] Circle’s End was also the place where Onyx bought her first serious book on magic. That makes it likely but far from certain that Harold Weiss is the Practitioner that Molly and Onyx talks about, and that Circle’s End is the bookstore they primarily frequent.

Trivia[]

It likely corresponds with the real-life bookstore Edge of the Circle, which was located on Capitol Hill until 2015, but now is located in the University District near the Ave.
