A plane associated with demons and torment.
General[]
Hell is the physical and metaphysical plane associated with demons. It is subdivided into several realms, each ruled by one of the Princes of Hell, that are eternally at war with each other. The princes have some sort of connection with Hell through the Crowns of Hell.
It is a place of eternal torment, torture, and punishment, for both souls and demons.[1] Even pleasure is a means for control and conditioning.[2] Many demons dislike Hell too, and those who get the chance to live and act on the mortal plane usually prefer to stay there.[3]
Demons who die in Hell will be reborn and reformed relatively quickly, usually within days.[4]
It is also known as the Pit.
Pathways of Hell[]
There are permanent gates between Hell and the mortal plane, though many of them are secret or hidden. It is possible to quickly go from one place on Earth to another using these, though it might require negotiations with or payment to the keepers of the gateways and routes. How deeply these routes require the traveler to go into Hell also varies.[5]
Recent events[]
Hell has recently went through several upheavals, strong enough that rumors of them has spread to the mortal plane.[6][7] The first was the death of Baal during the Battle of Blackthorne Manor. The second were the connected Battle of Perdition and Battle of Suite 1705, where Azazel, Belial, and Sammael all were defeated.[8]
Lilith has apparently claimed much of the now unclaimed powers in Hell.[9]
