A major city in California, and the setting for Grand Theft Sorcery.
General[]
Los Angeles is a city in California on the US west coast.
There is a partial interactive map over Los Angeles and the places where various events have taken place: Map of the Shadows of Los Angeles.
The Shadows[]
The Special Task Force of the FBI has a team permanently stationed in Los Angeles, which is responsible for investigating crimes involving the Shadows on the west coast of the USA. It was first led by Joseph Hauser, but is currently led by Sanderson.[1][2]
The city has a large vampire society. It was led by the vampire lord Cornelius, who claimed to be the Consul of the Republic of Los Angeles and held court in Malibu.[3] At least some of his possessions and resources has been claimed by Anatole.[4]
Recently, the stars have become much more visible over Los Angeles to people with direct connections with the Shadows. This happened after the release of Mitu. It is unknown if the visible stars are tied to the geographic location of Los Angeles or to the presence of Evan Murphy.
The lizard people have a settlement under the city.[5]
