An FBI agent in the Special Task Force. He first appeared in Natural Consequences.
Biography[]
Matt Lanier worked with the FBI investigating white collar crime as an information specialist. He was recruited by Colleen Nguyen when the Special Task Force was in need of a computer specialist. Due to the small size of the unit he also performed some fieldwork.[1][2]
He participated in the Battle of Magnuson Park.[3] In January he helped detain the surviving members of The Light after the Battle of Suite 1705.[4] His wiretaps and database searches proved to give important but incomplete information during the investigation of Evan Murphy.[5][6]
Lanier self-identified as a geek.[7] His guardian angel was probably Patrick.
