This Earth.

The Mortal plane comprised this Earth, as opposed to Heaven, Hell, or other planes. Areas on the mortal plane that were associated with Heaven were known as holy ground.[1] It is unknown if there were areas associated with other planes on the mortal plane.
Demons that died on the mortal plane would in most cases reconstitute in Hell, but the process would be much slower than for demons who died in Hell.[2] One exception to that was holy ground, where demons could be killed permanently.[3]
