Synopsis[]
Tanner had trouble finding a place to live, due to assassins blowing up his earlier home.[1] Hideo was in need of a bodyguard to shield him from his uncle Makoto’s demands that he return to his unpleasant home world and family. They spent a pleasant week together before Tanner had to confront Makoto’s three armed goons.

There is no known disease known as Hickam Syndrome. There is however Hickam’s dictum: “a patient can have as many diagnoses as he or she darn well pleases”, that is, people might suffer from several concurrent illnesses or maladies.
