Biography

Shannon Abrams worked as an ambulance EMT but had received a paramedic license. While attempting manual artificial ventilation on the dying Serena—a succubus—in late October she ingested the demon’s spirit and took it into herself. This gave her some of the powers and abilities of a succubus, while still largely keeping her old personality and values. She did however grow noticably more confident and assertive, and with greatly increased sexual desires.

She wanted to show off. She longed to be desired. Needed it, even, as much as she had needed to follow the path that put her in an ambulance tending the sick and injured. This need, though, she could deny to herself… but to what end?

Shannon wanted to explore it, and enjoy it. She didn’t want it to become all that defined her.

Halloween for Life

Newly single and with some of the abilities of a succubus, Shannon seduced Kevin Murray, was seduced and counseled by Lorelei, and set out to explore and enjoy her new life.⁠

Her current status and activities are unknown.

Rachel calls her a good person, and Lorelei describes her as intelligent, independent, and brave. She has red hair and brown eyes.

Relations

Shannon’s current relations are unknown. It is likely that she wanted to reach some form of lasting relationship with Kevin. However, she was advised by both Lorelei and Rachel that she cannot limit herself to one single sexual partner.

While exploring her abilities she had trysts with Lorelei and Michael, lead singer of the band Rockerdammerung.

Abilities

Shannon is an experienced and capable paramedic, despite her youth.

She has gained most of the powers of a succubus. She has powers of mind control and suggestion, and can shape her body and looks. She also has enhanced stamina, resistance to cold and heat, increased confidence, improved looks, and heightened sex appeal. She provides her sexual partners with additional sexual stamina. She will likely have an extended lifespan and never get sick. She can sense the feelings of lust and desire of those around her.

It is unknown if she has gained powers of illusion, but it is likely that she has gained some. It is also probable that she can form the bond between a succubus and prey; the possibility is probably why she has been counselled on relationships by Lorelei and Rachel. Her aura stands out to angels and probably also other people with spiritual sensitivity.

Theories

Given Shannons’s personality and occupation, there is no reason for why she would not have a guardian angel. That leaves several open questions:

• Why didn’t Shannon’s guardian intervene before she reached Serena?
• Why didn’t Shannon’s guardian work with Rachel in counseling Shannon, if nothing else by advising Rachel?
• If Shannon didn’t have a guardian angel, why was it so?

Compare Katerina Sorrow, Brittany, and Antonia Vega, who also came in contact with the supernatural when it could have been prevented. Also compare Sunday, who became possessed by a demon.

When preparing for the Rockerdammerung concert, Shannon changed her hair color from red to brown, which was the hair that Serena had. At a guess, she changed her entire appearance to more closely match Serena. She also gives her name as Sharon to Michael, which can be read as a mashup between Serena and Shannon. She also has had dreams involving Serena’s history, implying that Shannon might possibly be able to draw on Serena’s skills and knowledge.
