Biography[]
Todd Branch grew up in the mining colonies of the Archangel system, and still kept that accent into adulthood. He joined the Archangel Navy and became a senior officer. He had reached the rank of Rear Admiral and served as the commander of Fort Melendez just prior to the outbreak of the Debtor’s War.[1]
After Operation Beowulf and the Battle of Raphael, he became the captain of the Beowulf.[2] He served in that position through the Debtor’s War.[3] Apart from being involved in all the major battles of the war, he also served on the beyond top secret cross-branch debriefings of Alicia Wong and Michelle Janeka after their clandestine operation against the CDC.[4]
After the war he remained in command of Beowulf and commanded Archangel’s part of their joint patrol with the Union Fleet in 2280. As such he fought in the Battle of Minos.
Personal[]
Apart from his distinctive accent, Tood Branch took a strong interest in proper and ethical leadership.[5] This showed itself in him taking a personal interest in the training of Archangel Master-at-Arms.[1]
Trivia[]
Branch is based on a real-life friend of Elliott Kay’s, who also inspired Wade Reinhardt.[6]
