The Union of Humanity, also known as the Union, is an interstellar organization and the primary representation of humanity in the galaxy.
It is composed of various planetary and interplanetary governments, as well as vast megacorporations.

The Assembly is the sole legislative body of the Union. It proposes and enacts laws that every Union state must follow
One example are arms limits that prevent any one state from amassing a disproportionate amount of military vessels.
Fleet[]
The Union Fleet is a multinational military whose primary purposes include peacekeeping and enforcing Union law. It also serves to protect humanity against extraterrestrial threats.
A common threat that the Fleet addresses is piracy.
