Lorelei had great wants and ambushed Alex with them. She however had to step aside for higher needs when Michelle called with some hard questions.

Per the story notes, “Wants and Needs” is set in late January, after Personal Demons. However, the story itself says it “hadn’t been more than a week” since the end of Personal Demons, which would place it in mid-January.
