A magician constructed of parts of goblin folk stitched together with magic. He first appeared in Run Like Hell.
Biography[]
Yargol was created by Olen Zuck as an experiment into magical abilities, where different bodies from people with magical talent were melded together using magic. He did not meet Zuck’s expectations, but still served as his apprentice and assistant.[1]
In the dungeon he often served in the library. During the raid he hid but also sheltered Scars and War Cloud with his magic, saving them.[2]
His body parts were mismatched, and he was habitually clad in a black robe and hood which covered as much of his body as possible. Part of the reason for wearing it was that it provided him with a controlled environment for his body.[2][3]
Abilities[]
Due to his unique background, Yargol could wield magic from several different traditions. He had a broad if mostly theoretical education, and his life experience had been relatively limited.[4] Zuck also purposefully kept gaps in his magical education.[5]
He had a broad base of magic used for domestic and maintenance purposes.
Yargol was very small and physically rather weak, though he had more endurance than is apparent at first.
Possessions[]
Yargol found and kept an ornate metal staff that assisted him with spells of air and wind in Olen Zuck’s dungeon. It is possible that it assisted him with other magic as well.[3][6]
